Construction Focus, a journal of Department of Building, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria is inviting well researched and credible articles for consideration for publication in its 2026 issue. Authors Guidelines: All submissions must adhere to the following guidelines: 1. General Format: a. Language: British English b. Format: word document c. Font and Spacing: Double spaced, Times new Roman, size 12. 2. Details of Article: i. Length: not more than 15 pages, in line with the approve submission format only. ii. Abstract: i. 250-300 words; single paragraph, italicized. ii. Key items to include in the abstract: Introduction, research problem, aim, methodology, major findings, conclusion and recommendation(s). iii. Key words: 4-6 words arranged in alphabetical order iv. Major Sections of the paper: i. INTRODUCTION (to cover background, problem, aim/objective(s) and scope) ii. LITERATURE REVIEW (to include theoretical/conceptual frameworks) iii. METHODOLOGY (to include: Research design, materials, methods, population and sampling, validity & reliability, methods for data analysis and presentation). iv. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: (to include a brief introduction of the table, chart of figure containing the results; the result in table, chart, figure or Plate; brief interpretation and discussion of the results immediately below the table, chart, figure or plate. v. CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION(S): (in two separate sub sections) vi. DECLARATION OF INTEREST/SPONSORSHIP: vii. REFERENCES: APA 7th Style of referencing and citation Note: Heading of Sections: • Major sections: BOLD AND UPPER CASE. • First sub section: Bold and sentence case. • Second sub section: Bold and italics. 3. Tables and Charts: i. Tables: Title above the table in the format Table 1: ……; Single line spacing; No vertical boarder; Minimal horizontal borders; Key under; Source (if from existing literature) also the table. ii. Charts and Figures: Title under the chart, figure of Plate in the format Figure 1: ….; Minimal and clear contents; Axis, dimensions or coordinates clearly defined; Scale/magnification (where applicable) under; Source (if from existing literature) also under the figure, chart or plate. 4. Citation and Reference: APA 7th style 5. Appendices: Where applicable, to include only relevant materials to support key components of the paper 6. Payment: i.
